Who we are and scope

daarbh (“we”, “the platform”) operates a home-services app for users in the Kingdom of Bahrain. You reach us by category; contact options and structured requests are operated and coordinated by daarbh on your behalf. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and your choices. daarbh offers home-service categories and the contact options shown in the app. When you submit a request, we receive it and coordinate arranging the work. Scope, timing, and on-site arrangements are communicated by our team as set out in the app unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Data we collect

Account data: name, email, Bahrain-format phone (+973), optional profile photo, and account type (e.g. customer, or service partner where applicable). Usage data: favorites, requests you submit, engagement on categories (likes, requests, reviews), and contact actions (call/WhatsApp) for quality and safety. Device/technical: app version, language, basic diagnostics needed to run the service.

Purposes and legal bases

We process data to operate accounts, show categories, receive and progress your requests, display engagement, prevent abuse, comply with law, maintain reliability, and communicate about the service. Information you provide may be used by daarbh staff and systems that handle your request.

Sharing and processors

We use infrastructure providers (hosting, storage, analytics where enabled) under appropriate safeguards. Phone or WhatsApp details shown for a category are official daarbh channels for that service unless we label them otherwise. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information if required by competent Bahrain authorities or to protect users and the platform.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and activity data while your account is active. You may delete your account from the app; we then remove your profile and associated customer records as described at deletion time. Backups may retain encrypted copies for a limited technical period. Some anonymised or aggregated statistics may remain.

Your rights and contact

You may access and update profile data in the app. You may request account deletion in-app. For privacy questions or data requests, contact us via Technical support in the app. If you are unhappy with our response, you may pursue remedies available under applicable Bahrain law.
